The Ultimate Compliment

I may say how beautiful you are
Or say you're so very sweet
You're the nicest girl I've ever met
To be near you is a treat
Every time I hear your voice
It's like hearing angels sing
Every day of my life
Such happiness you bring
You're the image of perfection
You're kind without conceit
I say these things so often
Please forgive if I repeat
But there are three words
To me which are the best
The ultimate compliment
That outdo all the rest
Never do I say them
Unless I really mean
The words are "I love you"
If I say them, please believe
