The Poetry of Sylvan Shadowolf

Night Fright

Another night
Feeling fright
Behold sight
Shadow light
Cold requite
Winter's might
Fleeing flight
Fears height

Screaming sound
Fear abound
Circle 'round
Cowered down
Barrow mound
Deathly found
Baying hound
Underground

Slowly rise
Death's surprise
Glowing eyes
Cannot hide
Fear inside
Opened wide
Revealing sigh
Hearts lie

Shallow creep
Death retreat
Unwaking dream
Forever sleep
Buried deep
Head to feet
Shadow keep
Reaper reap
