Love and Devotion

To you, my love, I give all that I know
My heart ever beating, my spirit and soul
Naught do I ask for you to return
Freely I give them, yours not to earn
Bear thee to witness of my undying love
Devotion to you till called to above
Suffer no repine, no faintness, or worry
Safely embraced, with no need to hurry
Within my strong arms, tender I hold
To show my affection, not for control
Thine beauty grows deeper, deeper yet still
As my love so will grow forever until
If it should be precede me you pass
Never will I seek another to the last
For you are the only heart I seek
Be it forever until again we meet
