The Poetry of Sylvan Shadowolf

Faded

When lifeless eyes become their need
A scent of beauty carries unseen
Vision pales with slow digress
Thy soul encumbered, thy spirit less
Nearer the dawn, light shall bleed
And shadow thy soul, awakened steed
Fault the dawn for it's shallow caress
Bide thy heart, and thy soul's confess
Unbroken spirit thy not concede
Undetermined in life-blood's need
Fortune awaits in unopened chest
Followed true seeks thy spirits rest
Within darkness a spark of light
Held unseen in faded night
