Diana

A princess you were, to one day be queen
Not did it work out, you lost your sweet dream
You carried on, your charity more important
You persevered, no lack of deportment
You held your head high, never lacking the grace
Your care for the world, it showed in your face
How many children to you they are thankful
You helped them see past a world which seemed hateful
Your kindness and concern truly showed us you cared
Now you are gone it seems not at all fair
The world will mourn your premature passing
Your memory lives on in our thoughts everlasting
Carry on we will for what you held dear
No innocent child should have reason to fear
Now you have passed, the world will live on
Your memory stays with us, even though you are gone
Your kindness of heart, your love and your spirit
It will carry on, though you're no longer in it
As you look down from heaven above
Know the world is grateful for your unselfish love
