Sylvan and Morgaine's Anniversary Poem

Lady Wolf Morgaine was walking through the forest
Listening to the leaves rustle their breezy chorus
She came upon a path she had not taken before
And followed it into a beautiful sylvan grove
Within the grove she found many wondrous trees
And in the very center was the Sylvan Grove King

He sat in solemn silence and his sorrow she could see
His heart seemed amiss, but for what could it be?
When the Sylvan king saw her wolven gaze
He felt his spirit lift, and of this he was amazed
Such beauty in her eyes, such warmth of her spirit
He knew she'd have his heart, and of her's he would endear it

But what was it to be, a Lady Wolf and Sylvan King
Would it come of joy, or sorrow would it bring?
But nonetheless a magickal evening was spent
In company together and neither wanted it to end
They talked the night away though no word was spoken
And when the morning came the spell was not unbroken

For many a moonlit night Lady Wolf would come to chat
And their bond grew even closer, they were both taken aback
Neither of them knew such feelings could ever grow
But for their love of one another the truth they began to know
Then one evening as they sat together
The Goddess of the Forest witnessed their endeavor

She came to them both to bless them with a spell
On next Ostara night their true love they could tell
For on this night it shall come to pass
Lady Wolf shall become a beautiful maiden lass
But after three moons time she will return to her nature
So use the time well and don't worry about the later

When Ostara night arrived and Lady Wolf became Morgaine
Sylvan King knew she must be his Queen
His love for her professed, and found to be true
But no more time together, what could they do
They continued as before, their hearts must endure
And their love for each other nothing less than pure

When the Goddess saw their love could never be overcome
She granted that her spell would never come undone
Lady Morgaine returned to Sylvan Grove King
And after a time he presented her with a ring
She accepted his proposal, and tears wet both their eyes
On October 13th they became husband and wife

Now one year later Sylvan and Morgaine are still together
The first year of their magickal lives, the first year of forever!
