As the Daylight Fades

As the daylight fades we watch the sun set
You're in my arms, no closer could we get
To have you near me fills me with delight
To hear you love me makes everything right
I love you, my dearest, you're all I need
My heart is yours, as you've given yours to me
The darkness overtakes, the moon is arise
It's light reflecting within your hazel eyes
A gentle breeze softly tousles your hair
Of your nearness to me I'm very aware
I feel your heartbeat as we are embraced
The warmth of your body causes my pulse to race
My love for you cannot be contained
And the mysteries of love can't be explained
Love is magical, it's passion and fire
A flame within us that burns without tire
